Joyce Lee Crosskno, 61, of Cooter, Mo., died Monday, Oct. 18, 2004, at her residence.
Born June 30, 1943, in Poinsett County, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Lee Roy and Wanda Rose Carmichael Tims. She was a lifelong resident of Mississippi County, Ark., and Pemiscot County, Mo. She attended the Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Blytheville, Ark., and had worked as a melt shop clerk at Nucor-Yamato Steel in Blytheville, Ark. She had been a Red Cross volunteer and was a member of the Nucor Relay for Life committee.
She was married to Melvin Crosskno who preceded her in death in 1986.
Survivors include one daughter, Melanie Hoggard and husband, Thos, of Little Rock, Ark.; one brother, Don Tims and wife, Debra, of Cooter, Mo.; two sisters, Shelia Rhoads and husband, Benny, of Springfield, Mo., and Vickie Stubblefield of Cooter, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service was held at 2 p.m. today, Friday, Oct. 22, at the First Baptist Church in Blytheville, Ark., with the Rev. Danny Partlow officiating. Burial was in the Elmwood Cemetery in Blytheville, Ark. Cobb Funeral Home in Blytheville, Ark., was in charge of arrangements.
