Thomas Kirk McClanahan, 55, of Longwood, Fla., formerly of Hayti, Mo., died Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2004 at the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital in Tampa, Fla.

Born Aug. 29, 1949, at Hayti, a son of the late Mancel James and Mary Eva Dycus McClanahan, he was a graduate of Hayti High School, a Vietnam veteran and a carpenter.

Survivors include two brothers, Steve McClanahan and wife, Maravella of Beavercreek, Ohio and Bob McClanahan and wife, Kathy, of Winter Springs, Fla.

He was preceded in death by a brother, David McClanahan and a sister, Carol McClanahan Coleman.

Funeral services were 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 17, at the John W. German Funeral Home Chapel in Hayti with Dr. Mike Melton officiating.

Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery at Hayti.

Pallbearers were family members.
