Jewel Irene Bunn, 89, of Hayti, Mo., died Monday, Oct. 11, 2004, at the Pemiscot Memorial Nursing Home in Hayti.

Born May 3, 1915, in Pascola, Mo., daughter of the late John and Laura Stairs Clark, she was a member of the Hayti Pentecostal Holiness Church.

On Sept. 5, 1931, in Kennett, she married Arvel Bunn, who preceded her in death on Sept. 18, 1976. She was also preceded in death by 6 sisters and three brothers.

Survivors include one son, Reggie Bunn and wife, Carolyn, of Hayti; one daughter, Alma Ruth Franks, of Kennett; three grandchildren, Brenda Franks and Beverly Pyland, both of Kennett and Ronnie Bunn, of Hayti; three great-grandchildren, Angie Holt, Chad Franks and Logan Spence, all of Kennett and two great-great-grandchildren, Brittany and Whitney Holt, both of Kennett.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 14, at the John W. German Funeral Home Chapel in Hayti with the Rev. Leroy Thornton and Ron Birmingham officiating.

Burial was in the Woodlawn Cemetery at Hayti.

Pallbearers were Ron Birmingham, John Taylor, Wayne Keller, Jim Tilmon, Billy Gilmore and Lee Wigginton.
