Hattie Vaughn-Chance, 98, of Malden, Mo., died Friday, Oct. 8, 2004, at Lakewood Plaza Nursing Home in North Little Rock, Ark.

Born April 28, 1906, a daughter of the late Jonathan Carroll and Mary Emaline Rosenbaugh Bost, she was a retired nurse and homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith.

On Feb. 28, 1922, at Senath, Mo., she married Harry Ogle Vaughn who preceded her in death Feb. 10, 1952. On May 6, 1965, at Omaha, Neb., she married Manie Alfred Chance, who preceded her in death August 19, 1977.

Visitation will be noon to 2 p.m. today, Sunday, Oct. 11, at Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Malden.

Funeral services are 2 p.m. today at Landess Chapel with the Rev. Dale Shoup officiating.

Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden.
