Chester Crowder

Chester Cline Crowder, 92, of Campbell, died Friday, Oct. 8, 2004, at General Baptist Nursing Center in Campbell.

Born Oct. 4, 1912, at Doniphan, Mo., a son of the late John S. and Nora Pruitt Crowder, he was a member of Spoonerville Baptist Church at Malden.

On Nov. 13, 1943, at Kennett, he married Verna Collier, who survives.

Other survivors include three daughters, Tammie Golladay and husband, Joe, of Malden, Mo., Jerella franklin and husband, Tommy, of Campbell, and Chloetta Landers and husband, Larry, of Risco, Mo.; six grandchildren, Bradley Golladay, Misty Golladay and Larry Keith Landers of Malden, Jennifer Cain Cortes and Chris Cain of Campbell and Michelle Fourthman of Risco; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Ewing Crowder and one sister, Trelah Crowder.

Visitation begins at 6 p.m. today, Sunday, Oct. 10, at Bradshaw Funeral Chapel of Malden.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 11, at Bradshaw Chapel with the Revs. Larry Keith Landers and Richard Blagg officiating.

Burial will be in Rosewood Cemetery at Malden.
