Cornelia Belinda Yant, 89, of Piedmont, Mo., died Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2004, at the Clark's Mountain Nursing Center in Piedmont, Mo.

Born April 24, 1915, in East Prairie, Mo., she was the daughter of the later William Calvin and Tessie Green Bankston. She was a member of the Ellsinore General Baptist Church in Ellsinore, Mo.

On April 2, 1932, she married Plesie William Yant in Risco, Mo. He preceded her in death March 24, 1995.

Also preceding her in death were two brothers, Harry Bankston and Orville Bankston.

Survivors include one son, Shelby Yant and wife, Connie, of Mill Spring, Mo.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held beginning at 6 p.m. Friday at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden, Mo. The funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Malden, Mo., with the Rev. Elijah Bennett and the Rev. Jack Ruble officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Gilead Cemetery in Clarkton, Mo.
