Robert Mueller Randolph, Sr., 80, of Little Rock, Ark., formerly of the Caruthersville, Mo. area, died Friday, Sept. 17, 2004.

Born July 20, 1924, in St. Louis, son of the late Daniel Porter and Henrietta Mueller Randolph, he was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in WWII. He worked for the Chevrolet Motor Division of General Motors Corporation and was a member of the St. Margaret's Episcopal Church in Little Rock.

On Sept. 14, 1956, in Caruthersville, he married Phyllis Isom Raney. In 1968, in Caruthersville, he married Ann Core Karcher, who preceded him in death on April 16, 2004.

Survivors include two sons, Bob and wife, Eleanor, of Little Rock and Clay, of New Orleans, La.; two step-children, Madison and Rayn Monroe and two step-grandchildren, Turner Monroe and Wells Thompson, all of Little Rock.

Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Sept. 20, at the Little Prairie Cemetery in Caruthersville with the Rev. Dr. Paul Currie officiating.

H.S. Smith Funeral Home of Caruthersville was in charge of arrangements.
