Ryan Douglas Smith, 18, of Gideon, Mo. died Monday, Sept. 27, 2004, at Campbell, Mo.

Born May 30, 1986, in Poplar Bluff, Mo., son of James Douglas and Karen Sue King Smith, of Gideon, he was employed at Mid-Continent Nail in Poplar Bluff and was a member of the Bethel Assembly of God Church in Gideon.

Survivors also include one sister, Mackenzie Lynn Smith, of Gideon; paternal grandparents, Doug and Norma Smith, of Gideon; paternal great-grandparents, Myrtle Smith and Marjorie Bell, both of Gideon and a special friend, Amber Price, of Malden, Mo.

He was preceded in death by a grandmother, Linda King and a great-grandmother, Lola Seal.

Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. today, Wednesday, Sept. 29, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 30, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Kohlbaker officiating.

Burial will follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden.
