Lillian Irene Knotts, 86, of Campbell, Mo., died Friday, Sept. 24, 2004 at her residence.
Born, July 15, 1918, at Holcomb, Mo., daughter of the late Noah Lee and Ida Belle Moore Sullivan, she was a homemaker and member of the Mt. Gilead General Baptist Church in Clarkton.
On Oct. 13, 1939, she was married to Samuel Luther Knotts, who preceded her death on July 20, 2004. She was also preceded in death by one son, James Leon Shepard, a granddaughter, Tracey Lynn Knotts, one brother and two sisters.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Knotts and wife Reba of Smithland, Ky., Richard Knotts and wife Sally of Festus, Mo., one daughter, Brenda Cumins of Campbell, Mo., 17 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren, one brother, William "Buddy" Sullivan of Oakland City, Ind. and three sisters, Naomi Whitehead of Dittmer, Mo., Lucille Allen of Campbell, Mo. and Wilma Jean Douglas of Holcomb, Mo.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 26, at the Landess Funeral Chapel in Campbell, Mo. with the Rev. Vernon Cunningham officiating.
Burial was in the Mt. Gilead Cemetery at Clarkton, Mo.
