Rev. Bruce Laughvonn White, 72, of Tallapoosa, Mo., died Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2004, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
Born Dec. 15, 1931, in Lawrenceburg, Tenn., son of the late James Othel and Annie L. Cassell White, he was a member and pastor of the Oneness Pentecostal Church in Tallapoosa and a road foreman for the highway department.
On Jan. 9, 1948, he married Ruth Mae Wagner, who survives of the home.
Survivors also include seven sons, Dillard White and wife, Donna and Larry White and wife, Patty, all of LaForge, Mo., James White and wife, Cathy, of Portageville, Mo., David White and wife, Cheryl, of Matthews, Mo., Jeff White and wife, Debbie, of Malden, Mo., Mark White and wife, Kristi, of Risco, Mo. and Robert White and wife, Annette, of Campbell, Mo.; seven daughters, Beatrice Hardin and husband, Carl Jr., Linda White and husband, Darryl and Beth Bixler and husband Greg, all of Risco, Shirley Clyburn and husband, Glenn, of Malden, Sharon Carlisle and husband, Marty, of Tallapoosa, Naomia Stevens and husband, of Marston, Mo. and Angela Martin and husband, Mike, of Baderville, Mo.; one brother, James Oshan White, of Mishawaka, Ind.; 40 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Huston White; one sister, Genolia Fields; one grandson, Jarold Dillard White, Jr. and one great-grandson, Tyler Barnett.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. today, Thursday, Sept. 23, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 24, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James White officiating.
Burial will follow at the Mounds Cemetery in Lilbourn, Mo.
