Adolph Morris Huffstutler, 85, of Kennett, died Saturday, Sept. 18, 2004, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.

Born Sept. 12, 1919, in Holcomb, Mo., son of the late William Morris and Mary Alice Byrd Huffstutler, he was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in WWII and a member of Sumach Methodist Church.

On Dec. 5, 1946, he married Lola Irene Mildred Woodham, who preceded him in death on Aug. 3, 2000. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Eugene Huffstutler and one sister Genevia Luther.

Survivors include one son, Morris Huffstutler and wife, Christi, of Kennett; two daughters, Linda Holt, of Kennett and Beverly Van Dyke and husband, Roger, of Blytheville, Ark.; one brother, bill Huffstutler, of Matthews, Mo.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Monday, Sept. 20, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with the Rev. Dale Rickman officiating.

Burial was in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett.

Pallbearers were Bruce, Chase, Jerry, Mark, Steve and Wayne Huffstutler.
