Edward Smith

Edward Earl Smith, 71, of Kennett, died Saturday, Sept. 18, 2004, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.

Born Aug. 9, 1933, in Kennett, he was the son of the late Weiner and Daisy Jones Smith.

On Nov. 25, 1961, he married Jean Nugent, who survives of the home.

Survivors also include one brother, Archie Smith, of Sikeston, Mo.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today, Tuesday, Sept. 21, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with the Rev. Dale Rickman officiating.

Burial was in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.

Pallbearers were John Mathenia, Gene Watts, Dean Tucker, Darell Wheeler, Ricky Burdin and Tommy Masterson.
