Gertrude Nations

Gertrude Maggie Nations, 100, of Lake Wales, Fla., died Thursday, Sept. 16, 2004, at Westminster Care, Clermont, Fla.

She was born March 30, 1904, at Kennett. A homemaker, she was a member of the Church of Christ in Lake Wales.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Nations.

Survivors include two sons, Gerald Nations of Zoe, Ky. and J.L. Nations of Lake Wales, Fla.; two daughters, Irene Marcum of Ft. Myers, Fla. and Edith Cromeenes of Portersville, Calif; one brother, Clarence Walls of Ortenville, Mich.; 15 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren and one great-great-great-grandchild.

Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 20, at Lake Wales Cemetery under direction of Steele's Family Funeral Services, Winter Haven, Fla.
