Georgena Mae Haywood Renne, 70, of Kennett, died Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2004, at her residence.

Born June 9, 1934, in Kennett, daughter of the late Charlie Earl Miller and Lavada Lankford Miller, she was a member of the First Baptist Church.

She married Charles Renne, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents; one son, Carrol Lynn Haywood; one grandson, Joshua Blake Haywood and a special friend, Pearl Nelson.

Survivors include one son, Greg S. Haywood and wife, Karen, of Kennett; one step-daughter, Cindy Renne Jones and husband, Alan, of Memphis, Tenn.; one brother, Tom Miller and wife, Sue, of Valdosta, Ga.; two step-sisters, Wathena Jackson Johns, of Austin, Texas and Brenda Erwin Winton and husband, Jack, of Piggott, Ark.; three grandchildren; special friends and loving caregivers during her illness, Kathie Elliott, Glenda Mitchell and Sharon Wilson, all of Kennett and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins as well as countless friends.

Graveside services were held at 1 p.m. today, Thursday, Sept. 9, at the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett with the Rev. Ed Jansson officiating.

Pallbearers were Scott Tutor, Mike Brooks, Butch Lankford, John and Jason Nelson and Judd Cannon.
