Robert Turner

Robert Turner, 43, of Kennett, died Saturday, Aug. 28, 2004, at his residence.

Born Aug. 14, 1961, in Hayti, Mo., son of J.L. Turner and Bernice Randall, he was a factory worker at LL Darling and a member of the Lighthouse Church of Jesus Christ.

On Aug. 18, 1984, in Caruthersville, Mo., he married Perllean Brown, who survives of the home.

Survivors also include one son, Jervon Lane, of Atlanta, Ga.; one daughter, Kiara Turner, of Kennett; one brother, Larry Turner, of Holland, Mo. and six sisters, Gloria Turner, of Kennett, Shirley Rodgers, of Steele, Mo. and Daisy Jordan, Bobby Spruill, Annie Mae Beckwith and Catherine Fletcher, all of St. Louis, Mo.

He was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 4, at the First United Pentecostal Church in Kennett with Bishop Willie H. Johnson officiating.

Burial will follow at the Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett.

Pallbearers are Dale Byrd, Eddie Rogers, Larry Turner, Adrian Welton, William Swinton and Kenneth Murphy.

Bradshaw Funeral Home of Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
