Grady Lee Wallace, 67, of Kennett, died Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2004 at his residence.
Born July 22, 1937, in Advance, Mo., he was the son of Cecile Bulla Wallace and the late John Wallace.
On Sept. 6, 1998, he married Melba Hailey, who survives.
Survivors also include his mother, Cecile Hollingsworth, of Kennett; one son, Billy Gene Wallace, of Monticello, La.; three step-sons, Johnny and Mark Dennis, both of Kennett and Randy Dennis, of Piggott, Ark.; one daughter, Zelda Horton, of Rector, Ark.; one step-daughter, Shelia Watson, of St. Helen, Ore.; one brother, Larry Wallace, of Kennett; three sisters, Dorothy Davidson and Debbie Robertson, both of Kennett and Patricia Rose, of Texarkana, Ark.; six grandchildren, Casie Mabrey, Matt Hale, Jodi and Michael Horton, Blake Wallace and Billy Gene Wallace, Jr.; seven step-grandchildren, Ashley Watson, Gilbert Lewis, Priscilla Young, Nicole Van Dyke, Kimberley Wilson and Dustin and Kenna Dennis and six great-grandchildren, Hanna Wilson, Trey Edward Horton, Cody and Caleb Lewis, Preston Van Dyke and Skylar Young.
He was preceded in death by one son, Johnny Wallace and one brother, Billy Gene Wallace.
Funeral services were be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 21, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with Dwight Harrison officiating.
Burial was in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers were Robert Powell, Barry Tate, Charles Conder, Matt Hale, Dustin Patterson and Lesly Franklin.
