Kenneth Gibbins, 58, of Caruthersville, Mo., died Friday, Aug. 20, 2004, at Pemiscot Memorial Hosptial in Hayti, Mo.
Born May 14, 1948, in Steele, Mo., son of J.B. Gibbons and the late Mary Needham Dye, he was an insurance agent and a member of the Eastwood Memorial United Methodist Church in Caruthersville.
On Sept. 17, 1966, in Steele, he married Sheila Burress, who survives.
Survivors also include one son, Mark Gibbins and wife, Kara, of Portageville, Mo.; one daughter, Lisa Blanco and husband, Louis, of Orlando, Fla.; his father, J.B. Gibbins, of Kennett and seven grandchildren, Brittany and Clark Ledford, Summer, Payton and Abby Gibbins and Louis and Marissa Blanco.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Dye and one sister, Eula Faye West.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 23, at the Eastwood Memorial United Methodist Church in Caruthersville with the Rev. Dwight Chapman officiating.
Burial was in the Pemiscot Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Caruthersville.
