Mary Louise Shelton, 87, of Malden, Mo., died Thursday, Aug. 19, 2004, at Beverly Health and Rehab in Malden.
Born Oct. 5, 1916, in Clarkton, Mo., daughter of the late C.C. and Sarah Elizabeth Preston Crabtree, she was a cook at Malden School and a nursing home supervisor. She was of the Baptist faith.
On Oct. 14, 1933, in Piggott, Ark., she married Wesley George Shelton, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by one son, Dewayne Shelton and one grandson, Scott Shelton.
Survivors include six daughters, Georgia Albright, of Gulf Shores, Ala., Sue Beall, of Malden, Jetty Heide, of St. Paul, Minn., Sara Kalkbrenner, of Bartlett, Tenn., Melba Lipps, of Glendale, Ariz. and Verna Moel, of Hollywood, Fla.; two sons, Bruce Shelton, of Dexter, Mo. and Wesley Shelton, of Jackson, Miss.; 20 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, Friday, Aug. 20, at the Landess Funeral Home in Malden.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 21, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden.
