Beulah Marie Barr, 89, of Malden, Mo., died Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2004, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.
Born Sept. 2, 1914, in Campbell, Mo., daughter of the late Delbert and Lucy Williams Elder, she was a homemaker, a hospital aide and a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Malden.
She married Edward Beard, who preceded her in death on March 2, 1968. On May 26, 1977, in Malden, she married Finis Edward Barr, who preceded her in death on July 22, 1993. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Lois Arnold, two grandsons, Kenny Wayne and Keith Edward Arnold; two brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include one sister, Louise Hooker, of Swartz Creek, Mich.; two granddaughters, Kandy Yarbrough, of Texas and Tonya Corley, of St. Louis, Mo.; five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. today, Thursday, Aug. 19, at the Landess Funeral Home in Malden.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 20, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Davis officiating.
Burial will follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden.
