Clyde Hudspeth

Clyde Hudspeth, 90, of Kennett, died Monday, Aug. 16, 2004, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.

Born Oct. 24, 1913, in Clay County, Ark., son of the late William R. and Mary A. Sutfin Hudspeth, he was a plumber and a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church in Corning, Ark.

On Nov. 4, 1931, he married Elba Blanton, who preceded him in death on April 30, 1996. He was also preceded in death by one grandchild, Cody Collins.

Survivors include three daughters, Norma Stubblefield, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Amanda Smith, of Kennett and Evelyn Taylor, of Perryville, Mo. and eight grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 19, at the Ermert Funeral Home in Corning.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 20, at the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will follow at the Post Oak Cemetery in McDougal, Ark.
