Chester "Shinner" Samuel Law, 91, of Gideon, Mo., died Saturday, Aug. 14, 2004, at Gideon Care Center.

Born Sept. 17, 1912, in Gideon, son of the late Harvey and Alice Struby Law, he was employed at Gideon-Anderson Company and was a member of the Living Word Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff, Mo.

Survivors include one sister, Bertha Mae Jobe, of Gideon and two brothers, Willard "Bud" Law and wife, Dorothy, of Scott City, Mo. and Lloyd Law and wife, Ceil, of Jackson, Mo.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. today, Tuesday, Aug. 17, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Gideon with the Rev. Brian Law officiating.

Burial was in the Stanfield Cemetery at Clarkton, Mo.
