William Nash, Jr., 73, of Campbell, Mo., died Sunday, Aug. 15, 2004, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.
Born Aug. 27, 1930, in Datto, Ark., son of the late William Davis and Opal LaRue Nash, he was a retired machinist and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Campbell.
On Oct. 24, 1975, in St. Louis, Mo., he married Sheila Bell, who survives.
Survivors also include three daughters, Brenda Griggs and husband, Tommy, of Ward, Ark., Marsha Sewell and husband, Waylon, of West Ridge, Ark. and Jody Burks and husband, Darrin, of Malden, Mo.; three sons, Gary Nash and wife, Connie, of Dyersburg, Tenn., David Nash and wife, Jennifer, of Bernie, Mo. and Robert Nash, of Kennett; two brothers, Ronald Nash and wife, Sharon, of Malden and Richard Nash and wife, Paula, of Dennard, Ark.; six sisters, Marilyn Richmond and husband, Leon, of Dyess, Ark., Janet Archer and husband, Carrol Drue, of Bragg City, Mo., Glenda Traudt and husband, William, of Algonquin, Ill., Joyce Crawford and husband, Kenneth, of Kennett, Margaret Redman, of St. Charles, Mo. and Cathy Hilfiker and husband, James, of Gideon, Mo.; 11 grandchildren, Bryan, Amy and Adam Griggs, Kelly Martin, Michael, Christopher and Kayla Nash, Stacey and Clayton Reeves and Amber and William Sewell and four great-grandchildren, Madison Griggs, Mackenzie Reeves, Kayla Cothan and Aubrey Martin.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Elvin Eugene and Thomas Jefferson Nash; two sisters, Betty Evelyn Raney and Patricia Ileta Hall and one grandson, Thomas Franklin Griggs.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. today, Tuesday, Aug. 17, at the Landess Funeral Home in Campbell.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 18, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tony Wood officiating.
Burial will follow at the Gravel Hill Cemetery in St. Francis, Ark.
