Opal Alene Horton, 75, of Cardwell, Mo., died Sunday, Aug. 8, 2004, at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark.
Born April 25, 1929, daughter of the late Merdie and Pearl McCougan Henley, she was a cook and she attended Boon's Chapel Church of Christ in Steele, Mo. and Calvary Full Gospel Church in Cardwell.
Survivors include her husband, Henry C. Horton, Jr., of the home; one son, Ronnie Horton and wife, Judy, of Steele; one daughter, Kathy Milburn and husband, Terry, of Cardwell and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, Tuesday, Aug. 10, at the Heath Funeral Home in Paragould, Ark.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 11, at the Heath Colonial Chapel with Michael Horton and the Rev. Leland Dement officiating.
Burial will follow at the Linwood Cemetery in Paragould.
Pallbearers are Kevin and Terry Letson, Rick Cross, Harvey Beasley, Michael Brown and Doug Kemmett.
Honorary pallbearers are Louis Wyatt, Frank Allen Copeland and Jerry Smith.
