Georgia Huckabee

Georgia Huckabee, 69, of Cardwell, Mo., died Saturday, Aug. 7, 2004, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, Ark.

Born March 22, 1935, daughter of the late Virgil and Ola Bateman, she was a cook and of the Pentecostal faith.

Survivors include three sons, Lonnie Joe Huckabee and wife, Sandy, of Arbyrd, Mo., Thomas Henry Huckabee, of Cardwell and Michael A. Huckabee and wife, Bonnie, of Sebring, Fla.; three daughters, Kathleen Huckabee and Calleen mantle and husband, Renard, all of Centertown, Mo. and Linda Davis and husband, Herburt, of Arbyrd; two brothers, Robert Bateman, of Paragould and Ronald Bateman, of Gainesville, Ark.; four sisters, Shirley Gillum and Barbara Franklin, both of Gainesville, Peggy Huckabee, of Arbyrd and Ethel Rippy, of Paragould; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Teresa Bullock; five brothers and two sisters.

Graveside services were held at 1:30 p.m. today, Tuesday, Aug. 10, at the New Friendship Cemetery with Brother Clemens officiating.

Mitchell Funeral Home of Paragould was in charge of arrangements.
