Freda Crafton

Freda Rose Crafton, 80, of Hayti, Mo., died Monday, Aug. 2, 2004, at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.

Born Dec. 15, 1923, in Hayti, daughter of the late Wright Crafton and Freda Bryant Crafton Kelly, she was a seamstress and a clerk at Kelly Grocery Store. She was a member of the Moonlight Garden Club, Delta Rho chapter of Beta Sigma Phi, Hayti Women's Club and the United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two cousins, Bryon and Bill Bryant, both of Little Rock, Ark. and special friends, Bob and Peggy Turnage, of Hayti.

She was preceded in death by her step-father, F.L. Kelly.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 5, at the John W. German Funeral Home in Hayti with the Rev. Sue Cubbage officiating.

Burial was in the Woodlawn Cemetery at Hayti.

Pallbearers were Bob and Randy Turnage, Lance Walker, Joshua Keckley, Martin Ray and Bobby Irions.
