Lillie Davis

Lillie Dell Davis, 67, of Kennett, died Saturday, July 31, 2004, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.

Born Oct. 19, 1936, in Money, Miss., daughter of the late Willie Lee Brown and Odessa Scales, she was a homemaker and a member of the Community Temple Church of God in Christ.

On Dec. 1, 1951, she married Curtis Davis, who preceded her in death in 1996. She was also preceded in death by one grandchild, Chantel Davis and two brothers, Junior and Jessie Lee Scales.

Survivors include six daughters, Nancy Sims, of Cape Girardeau, Mo., Patricia Ann Davis, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., O'Dell Davis, Penny Davis and Michelle Craion, all of Kennett and Jeanette Madoo, of Jonesboro, Ark.; three sons, Curtis Davis, Jr., of Kennett, Willie Davis, of Greenwood, Miss. and Marvin Davis, of Paducah, Ky,; one sister, Lillie D. Rhodes, of Greenwood; two brothers, Billy Brown, of Schlater, Miss. and Sonny Brown, of Perrine, Fla.; 26 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 7, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with Bishop Luke Robinson officiating.

Burial will follow at the Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett.
