Homer Dale McDaniel, 55, of Paragould, Ark., died Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2004, at the St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark.

Born Feb. 14, 1949, in Poplar Bluff, Mo., son of the late Homer McDaniel and Geneva Harper, he was a sanitation worker and attended Greater Vision Church.

On June 26, 1970, in East St. Louis, Mo., he married Vicki Maxwell, who survives.

Survivors also include two sons, Jason and Michael McDaniel, both of Paragould; three daughters, Tammy Roney, Melissa McDaniel and Shauna Bailey, all of Paragould; six brothers, Eugene McDaniel, of Bonne Terre, Mo., Ronnie and Gary McDaniel, both of Mansville, Texas, David and Ronald McDaniel, both of Poplar Bluff and Donald McDaniel, of Kennett and three sisters, Beverly Wright and Janie Phillips, both of Kennett and Naomi Thrasher, of Arlington, Texas.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Shelby McDaniel.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 5, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett.

Burial was in the Stanfield Cemetery at Clarkton, Mo.
