Johnny D. Palmer, 60, of Springville, Tenn., died Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2004, at Henry Co. Medical Center.

Son of the late Johnnie Franklin and I.V. Palmer, he was supervisor for Heckethorn Manufacturing and a member of the Antioch Methodist Church in Springville.

Survivors include his wife, Marcia J. Palmer, of Springville; two daughters, Annette Grimes, of Trenton, Tenn., and Angela Chitwood, of Woopata, Mo.; two sons, John Allen Palmer, of Springville and William Palmer, of Paris, Tenn.; four sisters, Annette Bull, Brenda Jones and Nina Dixon, all of St. Peters, Mo., and Pam Metzger, of Hayti, Mo.; one brother, Larry Palmer, of Kennett; four grandchildren, Ricky Bates, Chad Grimes, Darrell Bell and John David Palmer and two great-grandchildren, Ally and Devin Bates.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Linda Palmer.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. today, Thursday, Aug. 5, at the Shelton Funeral Home in Trenton, Tenn.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 6, at the Shelton Funeral Home.

Burial will follow at the at the Oak Grove Cemetery in the Edison Community.
