Charlie Oatsvall

Charlie Mack O'Neal Oatsvall, 67, of Hayti, Mo., died Wednesday, July 28, 2004, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

Born Dec. 13, 1936, in Hayti, son of the late John and Alice Green Oatsvall, he was in the National Guard and worked at Brown Shoe Company in Caruthersville, Mo.

On Dec. 6, 1958, in Caruthersville, he married Carolyn Brantley.

Survivors include three sons, Charlie Mack Oatsvall and Jeffrey Oatsvall, both of Caruthersville and Carl Oatsvall, of Union City, Tenn.; three sisters, Jewell Gunnels, of Life Oak, Fla. and Nell Ingram and Margaret Roberts, both of Paw Paw, Mich., and four grandchildren, Carolyn Beth and Jamie O'Neal Oatsvall, both of Caruthersville and Jake Dulan and Erin Delaney Oatsvall, both of Union City, Tenn.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 31, at the H.S. Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Caruthersville with the Rev. Kenny Lee officiating.

Burial was in the Little Prairie Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Larry Joe and Ernie Thompson, Harold Nolan, Terry Brantley, Dale Gunnels and Doyle Woods.
