Born April 14, 1912, in Saragorta, Tenn., daughter of the late Jess and Annie Burns Oliver, she was a homemaker.
On Jan. 6, 1929, she married William A. Adams, who preceded her in death on Nov. 9, 1960. She was also preceded in death by three sons who died at birth; one brother, Buddy Oliver and one sister, Jessie Oliver.
Survivors include two sons, Norman Adams, of Mascoutah, Ill. and Larry Adams, of Caruthersville; five daughters, Betty Caple, of Fairmont City, Ill., Jo Ellen Wolfe and Lavade Gendron, both of St. Louis, Brenda McKee, of Cicero, Ill. and Rythia Crowe, of Caruthersville; 18 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and 35 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today, Wednesday, July 21, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Hayti, Mo. with the Rev. Kenny Lee officiating.
Burial was in the Little Prairie Cemetery at Caruthersville.
Pallbearers were Michael McKee, Arlton Wolfe, Ryan Crowe, Stanley Johnson, Matthew Sabo and Brandon Caple.
