Lee W. Wilson, 77, of Caruthersville, died Thursday, July 8, 2004, at his residence.
Born July 29, 1926, in Marshfield, Mo., son of the late Walter W. and Ima Ann Lumley Wilson, he was a U.S. Army Veteran, a former employee of Delta Distributing Company of Caruthersville, and a current employee of the Arkansas Employment Security Department where he worked as a tax auditor.
On May 22, 1948, in Harrison, Ark., he married Dorotha Young.
Survivors included two sons, Roger Lee Wilson and wife, Kris, of Cordova, Tenn., and Gregory Lee Wilson and wife, Rebecca, of Selmer, Tenn; one daughter, Cristina Rene Wilson Perez-Verdia, of Mexico City, Mexico; four grandchildren, Gregory Wilson and wife, Jennifer, of Cordova, Laura Kay Wilson, of Cordova, Sarah Lynn Wilson, of Cordova, and Mary Elizabeth Wilson, of Selmer.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Lynn Ella Wilson; and one brother, Lowell Edward Wilson.
Funeral services were held July 17 at the Marshfield Cemetery in Marshfield, Mo. with the Reverend Roy Wayne Wilson officiating.
Pallbearers were Roger Lee Wilson, Gregory Lee Wilson, Gregory Alan Wilson, Jeff Wilson, Paul Wilson, and Kenneth Wilson.
H.S. Smith Funeral Home of Caruthersville was in charge of the services.
