Mae Neely

Mae G. Neely, 99, of Herculaneum, Mo. died Thursday, July 15, 2004, at Herculaneum.

Born December 6, 1904, in Marble Hill, Mo., daughter of the late Henry and Cora Statler Seabaugh, she and her late husband, North A. Neely, owned Neely's Blue Castle Cafe and Modern Trailer Camp south of Kirkwood, Mo. She was also a dress maker and a member of Valley Park Eastern Star.

Survivors include one son, Donald Edward Neely, of St. Louis, Mo., one brother, Schalmer "Eddie" Seabaugh, of Patton, Mo., and one sister, Loretta Baker and husband, Jim, of Kennett, Mo.

Other survivors include three grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and one great, great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by one daughter-in-law, Louise Neely, four brothers, and three sisters.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Monday, July 19 at the Mahn Funeral Home in DeSoto.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 19, at 1 p.m. at the Mahn Funeral Home chapel in DeSoto with the Rev. John Slade and Rev. Harold Slade officiating.

Burial will be at the Woodlawn Cemetery in DeSoto.

The family suggests memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
