Mildred Rose Price, 83, of Kennett, died Saturday, July 10, 2004, at her residence.

Born Jan. 1, 1921, in Piggott, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Florence Opal Murphy Hasty.

She married Carl Taylor Price, who preceded her in death on Jan. 29, 1990.

She was also preceded in death by one brother, Paul Hasty and three sisters, Hallie Yarbro, Bee Pierce and Judy Davis.

Survivors include two sons, Chuck Price and wife, Fay, of Houston, Texas and Tommy Price, of Kennett; five grandchildren, Brandi Brown, Vicki Pittman, Jamie Price and Scott and Keith Smercina and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. today, Tuesday, July 13, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with Spencer Furby officiating.

Burial was in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett.

Pallbearers were Ronnie Crittendon, Hondo Goodrich, Murel Jones, Gary Parr, Tyrone Presson and Larry Rogers.
