Lee Fox, 78, of Malden, Mo., died Thursday, July 8, 2004, at John J. Pershing VA Hospital in Poplar Bluff, Mo.

Born May 8, 1926, at Marble Hill, Mo. a son of the late Franklin and Minnie Crader Fox, he was a retired auctioneer and attended the General Baptist Church.

On April 14, 1972, at Portageville, Mo., he married Marcella Murphy, who survives.

Other survivors include two daughters, Janice Ann Fox and Sandra Lee Fox of Columbia, Mo.; one brother, Linville Fox of East St. Louis, Ill., and one grandchild.

He was preceded in death by two sons.

Funeral services are 2 p.m. today, Sunday, July 11, 2004, at Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Malden with the Rev. Jack Allen officiating.

Burial will be in Stanfield Cemetery at Clarkton, Mo.
