Larry Don Kennedy, 55, of Kennett, died Monday, July 5, 2004, at National Health Care in Kennett.
Born March 18, 1949 in Kennett, he was the son of the late Cecil Chester and Irene Allgood Kennedy.
On July 26, 1974 in Kennett, he married Barbara Smith, who survives.
Survivors also include two sons, Terry Lee Smith and Christopher Shane Kennedy, of Kennett; one daughter, Misty Jarboe, of Kennett; one brother, Paul Kennedy, of Punkin Center, Mo.; five sisters, Ellen Helton, Brenda Brotherton, and Kathy Keating, of Senath, Mo., Janet Whitehead, of Kennett, and Connie Weller, of Jonesboro, Ark.; and two grandchildren, Sierra Renee Brown, and Justin Allen Jarboe.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Cecil "Bud" Kennedy and Leon Kennedy, and one sister, Virginia Kennedy.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. today, Thursday, July 8, 2004, at the McDaniel Chapel in Kennett, with the Rev. Dale Rickman officiating.
Burial was at the Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett.
Pallbearers were John Heinen, Billy Keating, Mike Onley, Gary George, Charley Laswell, Ronny Nelson, Billy McDaniel, Rob Roach, and Dale Henson.
Honorary pallbearers were Carl Goodale, Glen Whitaker, Julius Helton, and Arthur Bane.
