Lela M. Agee, 69, of Gobler, Mo., died Sunday, May 30, 2004, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.

Born June 16, 1934, in Yarbo, Ark., daughter of Willie Jones and the late Martha Hawkins, she was a homemaker and a member of the United Baptist Church in Gobler.

Survivors include two sons, Kevin Williams and wife, Elma, and Leon Agee, all of The Colony, Texas; one daughter, Mary Agee Franklin, of Hayti; her father, Willie Jones, of Birmingham, Ala.; two sisters, Emma Jackson, of Memphis, Tenn., and Mae Anna Ross, of Steele; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday, June 5, at the United Baptist Church in Gobler with the Revs. T.J. Denson and J.B. Johnson officiating.

Burial was in the United Baptist Church Cemetery at Gobler.

Pallbearers were Aaron Agee, Joe Fox, R.C. Gates, Calvin Malon, Noble Nelson and Bobby Stewart.

John W. German Funeral Home of Hayti was in charge of arrangements.
