Pinkney B. "Bub" Walker, 74, of Wardell, Mo., died June 23, 2004, at his residence.
Born May 19, 1930, in New Madrid, Mo., son of the late Edgar and Bessie Thaxton Walker, he was a mechanic and of the Pentecostal faith.
On May 2, 1953, in Corinth, Miss., he married Dorsie Bilderback, who survives.
Survivors also include five daughters, Beverly Moss and husband, James, Pam Garner and husband, Victor and Sherry Moss and husband, Claude, all of Pascola, Mo. and Carol Glass and husband, Dany and Sheila Creasy and husband, Gary, all of Wardell; two sons, Jimmy Walker, of Wardell and Terry Walker, of Hayti, Mo.; 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 26, at the John W. German Funeral Home Chapel in Hayti with Bro. Tommy Rushing officiating.
Burial was in the Woodlawn Cemetery at Hayti.
Pallbearers were Allen and George "Pal" Collins, Jeff Gaskins, Ben Hill, Michael House and Matt Rudd.
Honorary pallbearers were Claude Moss and Chris Young.
