Clayburn McKinley Starkey, 68, of Greenville, Mo., died Thursday, June 24, 2004, at his home.
Born April 25, 1936, at Marquand, Mo., he was a son of the late Newton and Mabel Grisham Starkey.
On April 7, 1960, he married Dorothy Maddox who preceded him in death. On September 16, 1995 at St. Louis he married Dorothy Maddox who survives.
Other survivors include three daughters, Teresa Kellum of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Eunnona Starkey of Vandalia, Mo., Rayetta Huggins of Lodi, Mo.; four sons, Roy Nunnery of Greenville, Doyle Starkey of Poplar Bluff, Otto Starkey and Ronnie Starkey both of Silva, Mo., three sons, Zella Marler of St. Louis, Hazel Sullivan and Len Woods, both of Bridgeman, Mich.; one brother, Clayton "Tuff" Starkey of Kalamazoo, Mich.; 23 grandchildren and several great- and great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by an infant son, Jack Starkey and two great-granddaughters, Tarh and Audrey Starkey.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. today, Sunday, June 27, at Bradshaw Funeral Chapel in Malden, Mo. with the Rev. Richard A. Blagg officiating.
Burial in Lynn Oak Cemetery at Clarkton.
