Phillip Mack, 45, of Columbia, Mo., formerly of Hayti, Mo., died Thursday, June 17, 2004, at Columbia.
Born Feb. 16, 1959, in Hayti, son of the late James and Pearlie Mae Mack, he was a cook at the Caruthersville Country Club in Caruthersville, Mo. and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include 10 sisters, Gertrude Brown, Alice Jones, Mattie Brown and husband, M.C. and Linda Burton, all of Hayti, Mary Lansley and husband, Wendell, of Springfield, Ill., Martha Robinson and Minnie Smith and husband, Lewis, all of St. Louis, Mo., Lovie Harper and husband, Freddie, of Kansas City, Mo., Carolyn Thomas and husband, Scottie, of Cape Girardeau, Mo. and Elizabeth Mack, of Alton, Ill. and four brothers, Carl Mack and wife, Beatrice, James L. and Jimmy Mack, all of Kansas City and Rondia Mack and wife, Aretha, of St. Louis.
Funeral services were held at 1:3 p.m. Sunday, June 20, at the Cedar Street Baptist Church in Hayti with Pastor Darion Thomas and Bishop George Wilson officiating.
Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery at Hayti.
Pallbearers were A.D. Hamilton, Steven Rodgers, Carnell Price, Edward Jones, Danny Mack and Christopher Mack.
John W. German Funeral Home of Hayti was in charge of arrangements.
