Gladys Rogers

Gladys Mae Simmons Rogers, 58, of Steele, Mo., died Monday, June 16, 2004, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.

Born Nov. 23, 1945, at Forrest City, Ark., a daughter of the late Herman and Georgnia Calleway Simmons, she a homemaker and attended the Baptist Church.

Survivors include four sons, Johnny Holmes, Robert Rogers, Benny Rogers and Herman Rogers; eight daughters, Debra Holloway Little, Cheryle Wilson, Shirlene (Don) Amerson, Patricia Rogers, Sally Rogers, Jennifer Rollings Crystal Rogers and Nicole Rogers; one brother, Roosevelt Simmons; five sisters, Ida Faye Townsend, Elvira Gray, Annie B. Rogers, Georgnianna Kinnon and Janet Simmons; long-time companion, Robert "Benny" Kinnon and 19 grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, June 21, at Bradshaw-Powell Funeral Home Chapel in Steele.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 22, in Bradshaw Chapel.

Burial will be in Morning Star Cemetery at Steele.
