Dora Warren

Dora Bates Warren, 85, of Bernie, Mo., died at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Mo.

Born June 26, 1918, at Bernie, a daughter of the late James Sylvester Bates and Martha Emeline English Bates, she was a homemaker and member of the United Methodist Church.

Survivors include one son, Michael Joe Warren of Bernie; two daughters, Marilyn Kay Stinson of New Haven, Mo. and Karen Warren of Bernie; one sister, Nadine Tallent of Lompoc, Calif. and four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Walter Bates and Robert Bates and one sister, Alma Beaird.

Funeral services are 2 p.m. today, Sunday, June 21, in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home Chapel in Bernie with the Rev. Susan Marner-Sides officiating.

Burial will be in Bernie Cemetery.
