Freida West

Freida F. West, 64, of East Alton, Ill., died at 7:40 a.m. Friday, June 18, 2004, at Christian North East Hospital in St. Louis.

Born June 24, 1939, in Parma, Mo., a daughter of the late Peter and Ruth Oguin Huffman. She was a supervisor for Star Bedding in St. Louis 34 years and a stand manager at Busch Stadium 30 years.

Survivors include one daughter, Ginger Mowder of East Alton; one son Charles Mowder and wife, Lizette, of East Alton; one sister, Eldora Clifton of Doniphan, Mo., and one granddaughter, Demora Mowder of East Alton.

Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, Sunday, June 20, at Elias-Smith Funeral Homes and Crematory in Alton.

Visitation will also be held from noon until time of graveside services at 1 p.m., Monday, June 21, at Bethany Cemetery in Campbell.

Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
