Joseph Shivers

Joseph Carl "Joe" Shivers, 44, of Steele, Mo., died Tuesday, June 15, 2004, at the Methodist Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.

Born June 23, 1959, in Sikeston, Mo., son of the late Paul Eugene and Ellen Shivers, he was of the Baptist faith.

On Dec. 24, 1986, in Hermondale, Mo., he married Diana Pollard, who survives.

Survivors also include five children, Robin Buchanan and husband, Lynn, Tony Bommarito and wife, Melinda, Lynda Shivers Bratton, T.J. Shivers and John Cybulski; five grandchildren, Ricky, Michael and Nikki Bommarito, Christian "Bo" Shivers and Amberlyn Bratton and one great-grandchild, Ryan Bommarito.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, June 18, at the Bradshaw-Powell Funeral Home in Steele.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 19, at the Bradshaw-Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Richardson officiating.
