Virginia Christine Huckaba, 78, of Campbell, Mo., died Monday, June 14, 2004, at Piggott, Ark.
Born July 24, 1925, in Selmer, Tenn., daughter of the late Johnson Junior and Mamie Lee Emmons Channell, she was a beautician, a member of the First Baptist Church in Campbell and a member of the Campbell Garden Club.
On Dec. 23, 1941, in Kennett, she married Eugene Allen Huckaba, who survives.
Survivors also include three sons, Donald Eugene Huckaba and wife, Pat, of Florence, Ala., Dennis Allen Huckaba and wife, Donna, of Springfield, Ill. and Jeffrey Glenn Huckaba and wife, Sue, of Fredricktwon, Mo.; four sisters, Faye Nunnery, of Little Rock, Ark., Francis Homer, of Rancho Bernardo, Calif., Marie Hodges, of Fullerton, Calif. and Margie Woods, of Caruthersville, Mo.; seven grandchildren, Dennis Huckaba, II, Randy E., Jason L., Tony S. and Nathan G. Huckaba, Julie Robinson and Jonathan L. Nail and six great-grandchildren, Taylor, Holly, Shelby and Hayden Huckaba and Mary and Annabeth Robinson.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Jimmie June Channell and one brother, Wayne Channell.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, Tuesday, June 15, at the Landess Funeral Home in Campbell.
Funeral arrangements will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 16, at the First Baptist Church in Campbell with the Rev. Jeff Gatewood officiating.
Burial will follow at the Tucker Cemetery in Campbell.
