Edward Eugene Taylor, 77, of Holland, Mo., died Sunday, June 13, 2004, at Baptist Hospital in Blytheville, Ark.
Born Sept. 2, 1926, in Adamsville, Tenn., son of the late Will and Mary Taylor, he was a carpenter and of the Baptist faith.
On July 12, 1966, in Caruthersville, Mo., he married Flossie Taylor, who survives.
Survivors also include one daughter, Peggy Samford, of Steele; two sons, Rickey Campbell, of Pascola, Mo. and Randall Campbell, of Murfreesboro, Tenn. and one brother, O.G. Taylor, of Holland.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Scott, Jim and Melvin Taylor; two sisters, Ethel Trowbridge and Christine McGarity and two grandsons, Rob Samford and Jeff Campbell.
Visitation will be from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. today, Tuesday, June 15, at the Bradshaw-Powell Funeral Home in Steele, Mo.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 16, at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele with the Rev. Jimmy Skaggs officiating.
