Phyllis Jeanette Kinchen, 68, of Whitesboro, Texas, died Friday, June 11, 2004, at Wilson N. Jones Medical Center, at Sherman, Texas.

Born Jan. 21, 1936, at Hornersville, Mo., the daughter of Veola "Via" Mills Williams Quarles of Whitesboro, and the late Lawrence Williams, she was a homemaker, and affiliated with the Church of Christ.

On May 23, 1953, in Piggott, Ark., she married Albert "Bub" Kinchen who survives.

Other survivors include two daughters, De'Naie Walker of Sherman and De'Mere Lane of Clarksdale, Miss.; one sister, Donnie Rose of Sikeston, Mo.; and three granddaughters De'Shae Walker of Sherman, Drue Lane and De'Karr Lane both of Clarksdale.

Funeral services are 2 p.m. today, Sunday, June 13, at Huff Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro with Danny Pettit officiating.

Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery at Whitesboro.

Pallbearers are Duke Walker, Steve Lane, Otis Drain, Don Woods, Charles Roland and Brandon Adkins.

Honorary pallbearer is Dr. James Rowe.
