Marie Josephine Deken, 76, of Campbell, Mo., died Tuesday, June 1, 2004, at Malden Nursing and Rehab, in Malden, Mo.
Born Dec. 27, 1927, in Campbell, a daughter of the late Garrett and Lucille Theile Brauer, she was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Malden and the American Legion Auxiliary of Campbell.
On Oct. 9, 1948, in St. Louis, she married Sylvester Joseph Deken who preceded her in death Sept. 2, 2000.
She was also preceded in death by one brother, Joe Brauer and one sister, Isabell Siebert.
Surviving are five daughters, Frances MaGruder and husband, Don, of Creve Couer, Mo., Joan Wagoner and husband, Dan, of Danville, Calif., Lucinda Christian and husband, Jim, of Arnold, Mo., Katrina Greer and husband, Steve, of Kennett, Barbara Crayne and husband, Jim, of Malden; two sisters, Louise Gardner and husband, Harold, of Festus, Mo. and Millie Dees of Campbell; two brothers, Bud Brauer and wife, Frances, of Ypsilanti, Mich. and Bob Brauer and wife, Doris, of Arnold, Mo.; six grandchildren, Christa Burgett of Houston, Texas, Valeria Christian of San Antonio, Texas, Jennifer Wagoner of Danville, Calif., Jamie Crayne of Malden, Drew Greer and Somer Hurst, both of Kennett.
Visitation is 5:30 p.m. today, Friday, June 4, at Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Malden, where Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, June 5, at St. Ann Catholic Church with Father Glenn Eftink officiating.
Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Landess Addition at Campbell.
