Virginia "Ginny" McCaig Hamm, 50, of Jonesboro, Ark., died Wednesday, May 26, 2004, at her home.
Born Aug. 5, 1953, in Humboldt, Tenn., a daughter of Maudie Singleton Simpson of Caruthersville, Mo., and the late Charlie Hugh Thomas McCaig, she attended school in Tennessee, was employed at Quebecor World and was a member of Temple Baptist Church.
Surviving are one daughter, Jenny Beck Crafton and husband, Greg, of Paragould, Ark.; two sons, Gerald Hamm, Jr., and wife, Brandy, of Paragould and Mark Hamm of Caruthersville; an adopted son, Glen Davis; 26 brothers and sisters; and two sisters-in-law, Wanda Woods and Melba Johnson of Caruthersville.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m., Monday, May 31, at Temple Baptist Church in Caruthersville with the Rev. Jim Pilcher officiating.
Burial was in Maple Cemetery at Caruthersville.
Pallbearers were Junior Greenway, Mark Hamm, Raymond Greenway, Charlie McCaig, Scott Hueppauff, Eugene McCaig and David McCaig.
H.S. Smith Funeral Home of Caruthersville was in charge of arrangements.
