Eva Rachel King, 91, died Friday, May 28, 2004, at Shawnee Christian Nursing Center.
Born Jan. 8, 1913, in Dyer County, Tenn., she was a daughter of the late James Thomas and Jessie Smith Weaver, she attended school in Dyer County, Tenn. The eldest of seven children, she was preceded in death by her six siblings.
Suriving are two sons, Lloyd Wayne King of Cambria, Ill. and Norman Cecil King of Van Buren, Mo.; four grandchildren, Denis Lee King and Janice L. Bell of Caruthersville, Joshua King and Jesse King of Van Buren, Mo.; three great-grandchildren, Thomas Wayne King, Nichole Lynn Bell and Ricky Lyn Bell; one great-great-grandson, Lane Thomas King.
Funeral services were 3 p.m. Sunday, May 30, at H.S. Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Caruthersville with Mike McDaniel officiating.
Burial was in Little Prairie Cemetery at Caruthersville.
Pallbearers Rickey Bell, Ronnie Manley, Ray Weaver, Bubby Berry and Denis King.
