Curtis Ray Moody, 73, of Malden, Mo., died Tuesday, June 1, 2004, at Beverly Health and Rehabilitation in Malden.
Born Aug. 11, 1930, in Leachville, Ark., son of the late Urban and Lillian Pleasant Moody, he was a U.S. Air Force veteran, a teacher and was employed at Monsanto Agriculture Center in Charleston. He was a member of the Charleston Methodist Church.
On April 6, 1952, in Matthews, Mo., he married Doris M. Green, who survives.
Survivors also include one daughter, Debra Moody, of Dumas, Ark. and one sister, Bessie Hawley, of Moody, Ala.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Raymond, Jewell and Urban Wayne Moody and one sister, Roberta Barnes.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. today, Wednesday, June 2, at the Landess Funeral Home in Malden.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 3, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jack Allen officiating.
